Painted Desk Pots
I love bright desk accessories! These painted terra cotta pots are perfect for organizing pencils, paint brushes, etc.
I have a very neutral desk and wall so I wanted to use a tropical palette of colors, like this beach shack at Crystal Cove:

Some tips for making your own:
- Use acrylic craft paint- it’s inexpensive and comes in a ton of colors. Make sure you wipe down the pots first to prep the surface for paint.
- Do several coats of paint and make sure to let each coat dry for at least 15 minutes.
- You might want to use a primer before the paint and a sealer after the final coat- it will help protect the paint when you are constantly putting in and taking things out of the pots.
- If you don’t want to paint the inside, use masking tape to paint a clean line. I love the way the terra cotta color looks against bright paint so I always do this.

Have a great weekend everyone! Jessica
